About Mark
Mark Robotham (pronounced "robber-thumb") is a self taught musician from the UK, comprising of singing, song writing, mixing, mastering and producing. Inspired from a young age by Mr. Vince Clarke and Andy Bell of Erasure. Mark has been lucky enough to meet them both, many times over the years and was also Andy Bells stand in for setting up the crane shots on erasures "fingers and Thumbs" video.
Mark started sequencing music on the Amiga, using software called "Music-X", mainly erasure songs which came in handy when he was to later form an erasure tribute band. Prior to this Mark was in a couple of other duos, mainly as a keyboard player, sequencing cover songs and writing a few orginals.
After a reluctant move and a steep learning curve from the Amiga to a PC based DAW, Mark was using Cakewalks Sonar for a good few years and has recently switched to Presonus Studio One Pro.
